Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 27, 2026
This policy describes what information is handled when you read powderbulk.com, how the operator uses it and what choices you have. The operator is the person or organisation running Powderbulk, and in this text “we” means that operator.
Visit logs
The servers that deliver Powderbulk pages keep ordinary logs. An entry may include your IP address, the time of the request, the page asked for, your browser and device type, and the page that sent you here. We use logs to keep the site running, to find faults and abuse, and to see in broad terms whether articles on hoppers, filters or process design are being read.
Cookies and similar technology
The site may use cookies or similar browser storage. Some are needed so pages load properly. Others, where enabled, count audience numbers, remember a setting, support advertising or record which link led a visitor to a supplier or retailer for affiliate attribution. A cookie set by an advertising or analytics provider is under that provider’s control, and its own notice describes what it does.
Browser controls and opt-out signals
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, browse privately or use tools that limit tracking. Where your browser sends a do-not-track or global privacy signal, we treat it as an opt-out request as far as our tools allow. If you block everything, an embedded diagram or video on a technical article might not display.
Email and anything you send
If you write to [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you include. We read it to reply, to check and fix the article you mention and to remember what was agreed if you write again. Technical questions can touch on your workplace, so please leave out confidential plant details. We do not sell messages and will not publish one without asking you.
Newsletters and forms
If a newsletter or form is offered, what you enter is used only for that purpose, such as sending the issue you requested. Every issue carries a way to stop receiving it, and a short email to us will also get your address taken off the list.
Outside services
Publishing a technical site relies on outside providers. These can include hosting and delivery networks, analytics tools, advertising and affiliate networks, and embedded items such as videos, diagrams or maps. They may receive technical data about your visit so their service works, and they handle it under their own notices.
Retention
Raw access logs are held for a short working period, after which they are erased or boiled down to counts that identify nobody. Emails are kept while they help us reply, fix an article or meet a legal duty, and are deleted once that need ends.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask what personal information we hold, have it corrected or deleted, object to certain uses or withdraw consent you gave earlier. To make a request, email [email protected] and say what you want. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law sets.
Children
Powderbulk deals with industrial engineering topics and is written for adults and students. Nothing on it is aimed at children under 13, and we have no wish to hold their details. If a child has written to us, tell us and we will delete the message.
Security
Protection here means encrypted connections to the site and keeping the contact inbox restricted to the operator. No system on the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
International transfers
Providers behind the site may process data in other countries, where the rules can differ from those near you. Using Powderbulk means your information may travel in this way.
Changes to this policy
When the site adds a new tool or the rules on data change, this page may be rewritten. The effective date above shows when the current version began, and continuing to read the site after a change means you accept the updated text.
